Bluewater Health is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is responsible for setting policy, establishing strategic directions and monitoring organizational performance. The Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors recommends for election by the Board, committed individuals who will volunteer their time to fill vacant Director positions on the Board and Non-Director positions on Board Standing Committees. Directors are elected for three-year terms and Non-Director Committee Members are elected for one-year terms. All applicants are required to live in Lambton County.

Bluewater Health is currently not recruiting for new Directors and Non-Director positions on Board Standing Committees. While applications are welcome throughout the year, a submission deadline is generally posted in March in order to allow for the necessary interviews and selection process to occur in advance of the Annual General Meeting in June.
