The Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Living with Stroke™ Program

Living with Stroke™ is an eight week workshop for stroke survivors and caregivers. Participants meet once per week for two hours with a facilitator who will lead discussions around various topics. It is designed for stroke survivors to participate sometime after they have negotiated the medical system and reside in the community.

Living with Stroke™ can provide you with tools and support to:
  • Improve your quality of life
  • Reduce the risk of another stroke
  • Participate in your recovery
  • Find the help you need to adjust to life after stroke
This workshop series is about engagement, adjustment and coping - it does not deal with medical management or rehabilitation.
To register for the Living with Stroke™ Program, please contact Tracy Christopher, Administrative Assistant, Stroke Prevention Clinic, at 519-464-4400 Ext. 8562 or by email.
