Board Governance

Records relating to the administrative management of the executive offices and to the management, organization, structuring of operations and direction of the hospital as a corporate entity. Records include by‑laws, articles of incorporation and minutes.
Nursing Administration Records relating to management and delivery of Nursing and Organizational Development, Occupational Health and Safety as well as the provision of instruction and the operation of nursing programs.
Clinical Programs Records relating to management and delivery of health care services and resources provided by the hospital to patients and to the broader community, including Procedures, stats, orders, audits, training records, minutes; for Allied Health, Day Hospital, Ambulatory Care, Endoscopy, Outpatient Chemotherapy, Medical Device Reprocessing/Sterilization, Perioperative Services, Pre-Admission, Day Surgery, Rehab, Cancer Care, Maternal Infant Child, District Stroke Centre, Mental Health, Rural Health.
Clinical Support Records relating to management and delivery of health care services including Performance Management-Utilization and Patient Flow, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Lab.
Communications Records related to providing general information about the hospital, responding to media, community engagement, and communicating corporate information to internal and external stakeholder groups.

Transition Planning
Records related to managing the construction, development, operation and maintenance of all hospital owned buildings, property and equipment, Environmental Services, Plant Services, and Security Services, Bio-Med.
Finance Records relating to financial management functions, including accounting transactions, accounts receivable, reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, guidelines, standards and accompanying documentation.
Human Resources Records related to the administration of employees, including their recruitment and ongoing employment, continuing education, compensation and retention. Also includes records pertaining to labour relations.
Information Management Records related to the hospital’s information practices and procedures to protect personal health information in its custody or control, as well as Patient Registration, Admitting, and Privacy.
Medical Affairs Records relating to management and delivery of health care services and resources provided by the hospital to patients and to the broader community, including Quality, Patient Safety Services, Risk Management, Professional Staff Programs.
Procurement Records relating to the hospital’s procurement processes. Records may include documents relating to procurement development, vendor evaluations and contract management.
