
Bob McKinley
Bob was reappointed to the Board of Directors of Bluewater Health in June 2017 after previously serving on the Board from 2006-2016. He is currently a member of the Resource Utilization and Audit Committee.
Bob is retired following a 31-year career in education, as a teacher and administrator with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. He received an Honours Business degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Education from Western University and a Masters of Education from the University of Windsor.
In addition to his service on the Board of Directors, Bob’s volunteer contributions to Bluewater Health include membership on the Volunteer Sewing Group, Bluewater Health Kindness Cart, and social activities for patients.
Bob was recently honoured for his volunteer service at Bluewater Health’s annual Recognition Ceremony in 2017, as the volunteer recipient of the Bridging Excellence Award in the Values Category.
Bob brings a strong focus on business and management to the Board, as well as extensive experience in healthcare governance, quality and performance, transformation, and relationship building. His other community endeavors have included serving on the Board of Directors of Lake Huron Yachts, and as co-founder of St. Patrick’s High School’s Irish Miracle and Cyclone Aid. Bob is currently the Returning Officer for Elections Ontario in Sarnia-Lambton.
