Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference

It is normal to be anxious about a cancer diagnosis. Some patients want a second opinion or feel larger urban cancer centres may offer more options for treatment. However, you can feel confident you are getting the very best care close to home.

Our physicians participate in Multidisciplinary Cancer Conferences with our regional partners in London and Windsor. This is a team review of patient cases. There are many experts in medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, nursing, and other specialists as needed who come together to provide second opinions on testing and decide on the best treatment plan. You get the benefit of many experts, without having to travel to another city, or potentially delay your treatment waiting for a second opinion. It is also an opportunity to discuss if you are eligible for a clinical trial. Click here for more information about Multidisciplinary Cancer Conferences.
