SARNIA & PETROLIA – May 6, 2022 – Today, Dr. Michel Haddad, Bluewater Health’s Chief of Staff, has been awarded the Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) credential. Receiving this designation is a significant accomplishment; those who earn the credential have demonstrated outstanding leadership capabilities, knowledge and skills required to find success while directing and influencing change within Canada’s healthcare system.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to Dr. Haddad on this great achievement,” says Brian Knott, Board Chair of Bluewater Health. “We are proud to have a colleague who continuously exhibits great leadership within the hospital as well as in the community; we are thrilled to see Dr. Haddad being celebrated for his hard work and significant accomplishments.”

Throughout the pandemic, Dr. Haddad has acted as a calm and educational voice in Sarnia-Lambton. His candor and commitment to patients and families has been noted both internally, and from members of the community.

Dr. Haddad’s character and knowledge are valued not only in his role at Bluewater Health, but also in his position as Regional Academic Director, Lambton County at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine.

“It’s an honour to be acknowledged with this certification,” says Dr. Haddad. “The work I do isn’t for the recognition, but it’s great to be celebrated alongside so many talented and accomplished physicians.”

Dr. Haddad will be recognized as a credential recipient at the upcoming Canadian Conference on Physician Leadership, being held on May 6 - 7, 2022 in Toronto.
