Winner of Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce 2019 Outstanding Business Achievement Award

Bluewater Health is proud of its selection as Sarnia-Lambton's “Cool Place to Work” at this year’s Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.

We take great pride in our work to create a healthy, positive and productive workplace, and are thrilled to have our practices recognized as a leader in Lambton County. Our commitment to staff development, work/life balance, fair employment practices and employee communications has contributed greatly to our high level of employee satisfaction and engagement. In fact, we saw our highest participation ever – 74% -- in our last employee engagement survey. We continue to see a high number of online applications for job postings and co-op positions.

Our focus on a healthy work environment spans a broad range of activities, from promoting self-care to personal and professional development, and from reward and recognition to encouraging a culture of kindness. In addition, staff enjoy competitive compensation and benefit packages and flexible work schedules where possible and requested. We continue to work toward certification as a Mentally Health Workplace through Excellence Canada, and distinguish ourselves as a great place to work, practice, volunteer and learn.

We firmly believe that taking good care of our employees helps them take great care of our patients… and that’s excellent news for the citizens of Sarnia-Lambton.
