SARNIA & PETROLIA – July 8, 2020 – Bluewater Health again ranks in the top 50 hospitals in Canada and has moved up 12 positions from the 2019 rankings. The list, published by Newsweek, was again developed by Statista Inc. – a global market research and consumer data company. The rankings were compiled based on recommendations from hospital professionals, patient survey results and medical performance indicators. Toronto had five hospitals in the top 10 Canadian hospitals while Montreal and Calgary each had two hospitals, and Vancouver one. Bluewater Health appears 38th in the list, immediately following Victoria Hospital (London Health Sciences Centre) and two campuses of Covenant Health in Edmonton. The 2020 ranking was validated by a global board of experts from renowned healthcare institutions and universities around the world.
