Change in Pre-Operative & Obstetrical COVID-19 Testing

Due to our community’s low prevalence COVID-19 status, Bluewater Health will no longer be requiring surgical and obstetrical patients to be tested prior to surgery or expected delivery date.
This will take effect for all patients scheduled for surgery or birth/delivery on Monday, July 4, and onward.
Bluewater Health currently has zero COVID-positive patients in hospital.
Bluewater Health’s programs and services are distributed across two locations, Bluewater Health in Sarnia and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital of Bluewater Health in Petrolia.
