Medicine unit outbreak ended; outbreak declared on Complex Continuing Care

Bluewater Health, in consultation with Lambton Public Health, has declared an end to the COVID-19 outbreak on the General Medicine unit in Sarnia.

Bluewater Health has just received confirmation that two patients have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Complex Continuing Care, and the unit has been formally declared to be in outbreak. All designated care partners for those impacted by this outbreak are halted.

Bluewater Health currently has five COVID-positive patients in hospital.
